    Make sure your device is ready. Ensure your web cam and mic work with Chrome browser. Try a 3rd party app like: Online Mic and Web Cam Test

  • Know the Employer

    Review the companies participating in the career fair. Each company has a web site button leading to its career site. Take time to learn about the employers that interest you as well as open positions and locations.

  • Know where to go

    Familiarize yourself with the each company’s area before the career fair. When the career fair begins, click the "Meet Live Recruiters" button to connect with a recruiter face-to-face. Your meeting will begin when a recruiter is available.

  • Resume

    Have your resume polished, prepared, and ready to upload in the booth chat area AFTER you connect with a recruiter. If you upload your resume before the meeting, the recruiter will not receive it.

  • What to say

    Be prepared to answer who you are and why you want to work for that particular company. Prepare and rehearse an “elevator pitch.” An elevator pitch is a short summary of the “best” of you, and takes about 30 to 60 seconds or around 75 words.

  • Meeting Times

    Recruiter meeting times may be limited due to a high volume of attendees. Job seekers will connect on a first-come basis. You may need to wait. Stay connected to remain in the queue. .

  • Internet Connection

    Be sure your internet connection and browser meet the career fair requirements. If your internet connection is interrupted, you will be disconnected. Please try to connect again.

How to Attend the Virtual Career Fair

If you are 18 or older and you are looking for employment for yourself*, follow these steps. This event is for job seekers. Job Seeker representatives (head hunters, talent agents, etc.) are not permitted.

Follow these steps to attend the career fair online.

Step 1. Before the career fair fair date: Register

Step 2. Before the Career Fair: Complete your profile and upload your resume

After registering, complete your job seeker profile located in your account. Upload your resume. Recruiters will be searching job seeker profiles before, during, and after the career fair. This is why it is recommended to register well before the job fair opens.

Step 3. Before the Career Fair: Review Employers

  • Take time to learn about the employer, open positions and locations. Be sure you are aware of their open positions.
  • Familiarize yourself with the actions available to you in each employer’s area. Each has a link to their career site. when the career fair opens, you will connect the recruiters by selecting “Meet Live Recruiters.”

Step 4. On the day of the career fair

  • Login to your careerfair.online account.
  • Prioritize your favorite Employers
  • Select your desired employers and select “Meet Live Recruiters”
  • The Recruiters Portal will open in a new window.
  • You will enter a queue to speak with a recruiter. (There may be a wait time. Stay connected to keep you place in the queue.)
  • If you disconnect before meeting a recruiter, you will need to make that connection again and start over in the queue.
